My experience at Luciano K and Lastarria hotels in Santiago

Hi folks! In my last travel to Brazil I had my connections in Santiago, Chile. It is always long hours flighting from Sydney to Brazil, so I believe that this is a great idea to stop in Santiago and spend few days enjoying Santiago, relaxing and I knowing these two fantastic hotels Luciano K and Lastarria. Both hotels belong to the same owner and group and you can see how lovely they both are when you see the quality and how they're taking care of the details. I've been in Santiago twice when I flew from Sydney and when I came back from Brazil. This is the first part of my experience and in my next post I will write a little more about the second part.

The Boutique Hotel Luciano K

This is a really charm and sophisticated boutique hotel. Situated opposite Parque Forestal, Luciano K has 38 bedrooms, all with an amazing art deco design environment. On the hotel's ground floor you will find the entrance hall, sauna, bar and the restaurant. The staff are really friendly and ready to help with everything you need.

The Room

I stayed at Deluxe Accomodation which is super comfy and beautiful. The room is equipped with king-sized bed, finest quality bed lined, mini-bar (red wine and glasses), sound-proof windows, bathtub, hair drier, working desk, wi-fi and breakfast included (delicious food and great service). I was really tired and I had a perfect relax in this room - really recommend!

Breakfast

The breakfast is my favourite thing in the hotel experiences and I just loved the Luciano K service. They prepared everything with love and care. There are a lot of kind of breads, fruits, granola and you can order your eggs for the staff in your favourite style.

Terrace and Pool area

The Luciano K has a fantastic roof top terrace of 300 square meters and it accommodates: Bar, heated swimming pool and spectacular views over Parque Forestal and Alameda Avenue. This was my favourite place in the hotel and I really recommend to spend time enjoying the roof top area, its view, trying some wines and delicious meals from the bar.

About Luciano K

The building is a cultural jewel in the heart of the gastronomic Lastarria neighbourhood of Santiago, originally designed by the arquitect Luciano Kulczewski in the 1920s.

At the time, it was the tallest building in Chile, the first with a lift - that is really cool! . The glamour and elegance of the 1920s is showcased in the architecture and design, accompanied by the highest levels of comfort and technology you will find at the best international hotels.

Lastarria Boutique Hotel

The Lastarria was the second hotel that we knew in the first part of our trip. It's really close to Luciano K and it's a stunning residence, built in 1927 and placed in the heart of Santiago´s most bohemian borough. Its location is perfect because is surrounded by the best museums, galleries, trendy shops, antique stores, cinemas, theatres and innovative restaurants.

This boutique Hotel offers guests the chance to discover the diversity of the city on their doorstep.

The Room

We had such a great time at our Suite room at Lastarria Boutique Hotel, it is what we can call of premium accommodation and it is located on the second floor with a street view. The room is large and has a lot of space. When we arrived we were welcomed with a cute message and everyday we had chocolates placed at our desk.

The room is equipped with a kind-sized bed, amazing comfy fort, beautiful and sophisticated decoration, TV, air conditioner, hair drier, working desk, wi-fi and the breakfast included - beautifully by the pool.

About Lastarria

Its principal characteristics are the refined architecture with which this historic house was originally built, its garden with an outdoor swimming pool - amazing area! - and the private areas that makes us as guests feel so at home.

The staff of Lastarria Boutique Hotel is so kind and friendly and we had such a nice experience and an unforgettable stay.
