Treehouse in the Blue Mountains

Hi folks! I had such a perfect weekend at a treehouse in Blue Mountais and it's a pleasure to share everything with you, all the tips and details about it. We decided to have a different experience and rent a weekend treehouse in the mountains to spend our time together far away from the busy and noise routine that we have in Sydney.

So, we found a beautiful and cute house in the AirBnB and we planned our trip to Blackheath.

Blackheath

Blackheath is a town located near the highest point of the Blue Mountains, between Katoomba and Mount Victorian, in New South Wales, Australia.

From Blackheath town centre, a short drive to the east northeast takes you to Govetts Leap, a lookout with spectacular views of the Grose Valley and nearby waterfalls. This tour is well worth it and is one of the most beautiful views of the Blue Mountains in my opinion.

It's easy to access by train from Central to Blackheath station but can be hard to find taxis and uber there, it's pretty quite and relax place. Blackheath has many cafes and restaurants, a large antique centre and art galleries. I loved it and I really recommend!

The Treehouse- A Perfect Couples Gateway

We had a look in some options at AirbnB and we found a charming cabin style treehouse close to Blackheath center. The cabin is contained within the property of a larger house, also rented out on Airbnb (though the house is deep enough in the property to provide full privacy).

With a large deck amongst the tree-tops, inspiring views, and cosy loft-style bed this is perfect for couples, artists, writers, bushwalkers or meditators.

The property overlooks the Grose Valley and provides the perfect access to the Blue Gum Forest walk.

The cabin is totally charming and cozy, it has one double bed, a sofa, interesting books and a kitchenette. The shower and the toilet are attached to the large balcony (with views!!!), so you need to walk outside on the deck to get from the living room to the bathroom. It's a dream stay, like you were in a movie! :)

The kitchenette has a stove top with two hot plates, a toaster, a sink, and a bar fridge. There will be basic supplies such as salt, pepper, tea, coffee, tea pot, coffee plunger etc. There's everything to have your dinner and breakfast there! Bring your food and drinks :)

There is also a stone BBQ about 20 metres from the front door of the house that guests are also welcome to use, firewood is provided.

Such a lovely place to stay. The treehouse was just as pictured and the grounds were even more lovely than we'd thought.
