There're no better gifts than travels and experiences in my opinion. Bruno Mota (my amazing husband and artist  check out his page) and I had a blast at Mistere Spa and Retreat celebrating our 11th Wedding Anniversary this month. What a unique experience!

If you follow me for a while you probably know how much I love retreats, nature and beautiful places to relax, take some photos, disconnect from my busy routine and have some kind of inspiration for my life.

We're always wondering of what is the perfect gift in these occasions but since we were bitten by a travel bug we only think about to give travels and more travels to each other. So, we choose staying at Mistere Spa and Retreat this year and it was totally perfect.

The best choice! We didn't have long holidays, just few days so we decided to book our flights from Sydney to Gold Coast and explore the area around as we already knew Goldy before. In just 35 minutes we arrived at Urliup, NSW in the middle of a wonderful bush and a perfect scenario to have our time together. It was very easy to drive from Gold Coast to the retreat and the landscapes around the road are just beautiful. I really recommend going during the day to see the beauty's area.

It was like a dream. When I saw the cottage and opened the door...OMG....I was AMAZED! The room was so beautiful, everything so new and luxury. Definitely a 5 star accommodation.

We spent our days at the wonderful Waterfall Villa placed into a bush paradise just in front of the waterfall where the only noises we could listening were the drops of waters and bird songs.

We were welcomed with an amazing Breakfast Basket with a lot of delicious food with everything we needed to stay cosy and comfortable.

The Waterfall Villa cottage is stylishly decorated using a neutral colour palette. There is a chic open-plan bedroom and spacious dining area with 50-inch flat-screen TV, and a full-size bathroom with an indulgent rainfall shower and double chromotherapy spa bath. It's a totally bathroom goals!

If we just wanted to stay inside the luxury cottage we could, but there were so many beautiful places to explore around the Mistere Spa and Retreat area. We had a bit of walking in the mornings through its trails and we could see the wildlife, breathe some fresh air and we had some stops to take some memorable pictures and enjoy the stillness.

During the trails, there are several beautiful sculptures selections and we could check the marvellous artworks while we exercised. We love art and we really value places that invest in art and artists.

I loved the Zen Garden with the Big Buddha sculpture and we had our yoga and meditation sessions every day during our stay. What an incredible opportunity to have one place like this only for us during our stay.

I highly recommend Mistere Spa and Retreat  for anyone who wants some time to relax, to stay with beloveds ones, to restart, to take care of body and soul, to explore new places, to reconnect with nature and why not with ourselves?! It's an AMAZING gift for everybody's souls and in my case for my soulmate! :)

Enjoy some photos and leave a comment if you have any question.
